Last week we decided to check out the community day in our town. We live in a small town, there was no website explaining what "community day" would entail, just a few signs posted around town. But we decided to check it out anyway and we were glad we did. We rode our tandem bike over and just as we started walking through the park to have a look around we saw these army helicopters flying overhead!
Everyone started walking/running over to watch them land right in the field!
We all waited patiently for the helicopters to power down :)
Once the blades stopped running, we were allowed to jump inside! Cool! Kira didn't want to sit in it by herself so I sat with her!
Besides the helicopters, community day had lots of fun filled FREE activities for kids.
Even though Kira has never seen the show Dora the Explorer, she was very excited to sit and take a picture with her!
