I had my meeting with the specialist yesterday. At these appointments, they check my placenta and uterus and the growth of the baby. Everything has been going really smoothly, the placenta does not appear to be growing into the uterus as they were afraid it might, I have an abundance of fluid for the baby to swim around and the baby's growth has been right on track. The only concern at this point is that the baby is currently in a transverse position, and has been for every single ultrasound I've had. There is a real possibility that the scar tissue in my uterus is preventing the baby from flipping head down. This could mean I would be forced into a c section but we will just have to wait and see if she can flip. The dr said he would be shocked if she flipped into the birthing position so we shall see what happens. The good news is, everything has been going so well the dr told me there should be no reason I cannot have another child after this one which is a huge answer to prayer. I don't know if we will have another one...but it would be nice to have that option.
In other news, I just completed chapter 5 and my IDP is a total of 150 pages!! Whew! Glad to have it done and now all I have to do is wait for graduation since I have fulfilled all the requirements!
We also did a fun field trip this week to Cedar Run wildlife rescue. This month they learned about leaves and seasons. This is a great program for homeschool kids that is tailored to specific ages. Kira is in the 4-5 year old class.
