Anyhoo, after meeting with the "specialist" last week and being informed that the baby would most likely not turn, I went online and furiously researched information and techniques on how to encourage the transverse baby to turn. I found some pretty interesting things, one of those techniques includes a modified hand stand off the couch, which I have been doing. I'm sure I looked pretty funny doing this. If you google "spinning babies" you can find the site I was looking at...
I have the bad habit of being a worrier. I don't like this about myself and I am trying to change but thinking about the baby laying the wrong direction made me worry. Well, I had my regular obgyn appointment on Wednesday and informed the midwife what my specialist had said and she basically said, don't worry about it. Haha! She said its too early and the baby can still turn, even during labor she would wait to see it the labor would encourage the baby to move. Well, that statement helped me relax a little and let the worry go. The only tough part was the pain caused by a transverse baby and my baby girl's feet pushing into my ribs was making me pretty uncomfortable. Well wouldn't you know it, Wednesday night I was lying in bed so uncomfortable and I could feel the baby move off my ribs!
I can't wait to see the specialists face when he sees the baby has moved, contrary to what he thought!
In other news, I'm completely done my paper and it's so nice to have that off my mind. Also finished most of the painting of the basement! And yesterday we had the carpet installed so it is looking so different down there! This weekend Tom is going to assemble the closet and hopefully start on the trim. Then next week he will lay the pergo in the hallway. After that we can move furniture! Very exciting because the end is finally in sight! Glad it's almost done because we are running low on funds! Lol
