Our little miracle

It's a girl! Everything looks good! Dr was very nice and said although there was presence of scar tissue still in uterus that it should not impact the pregnancy and the tissue could even break away as the pregnancy progresses. I could actually see the scar tissue on the high resolution ultrasound and it looks like a spider web or string hanging. I am at a higher risk for placental abruption http://www.mayoclinic.com/health/placental-abruption/DS00623

So if I have any bleeding I have to go immediately to see my Dr but at this point the dr said my placenta looks good, the baby is healthy and they will just continue to monitor my progress and movement of the placenta every four weeks. I am also at a higher risk of having a hysterectomy after giving birth so I would just ask for continued prayers that everything will go smoothly because I would really like to keep my uterus! Haha! But although the doctor wants me to be aware of what COULD happen, he stressed that he wanted to "think positive" because there is a real possibility that nothing bad will happen. "Prepare for the worst, but think the best" is what he told me and i appreciate the perspective. I will have my next appointment with him oct 19.
