Life with a newborn

K #2 is now 5 weeks old! We are slowly but surely getting into a rhythm of a schedule. Now that I have had experience with both I can definitely say that recovery from a c section has been a lot harder than a regular delivery. But I am thankful I have a baby to show for it and I would gladly go through it all again for her. 

Last night we had K's two little cousins over for a sleepover. We laid their blankets on the floor and they all slept in the pinkalicious room. It seemed like a good idea but I wasn't thinking about the fact that T would have to be in charge of bedtime since I would be taking care of the baby. Haha! The girls were so excited it took them a while to literally wear themselves out and fall asleep but T said by 9:15pm they were out. Now I'm up with the baby (5am) so I sent T to bed and am just waiting for them to wake up. We will see what this morning brings, hopefully not tears and exhaustion.  :)

Update: I think the sleepover was a success...yes, the kids didn't get much sleep but they can always get caught up on that later I think they had fun!
